Medical problems like hypothyroidism, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke can cause changes in the brain which eventually triggers depression.
Pain
Women who suffer from any kind of emotional or physical pain for a prolonged time can also have the problem of depression. The pain that is chronic and stays for a long time due to accident, trauma, sexual assault or abuse are the main reasons for depression in women.
